The Longfellow Library encourages all students to listen to books as well as to read with their eyes. Audiobooks improve fluency, increase access to language, and allow students to understand more complex texts. Students can access audiobooks a number of ways.

Sora (by OverDrive)

Listening or reading on a computer? Follow the instructions below.

1. Go to the Sora app website.

2. Click on Find my School.

3. Select Berkeley Unified School District.

4. Sign in with your students.berkeley.net account.

5. From the menu on the right side, make sure to add Berkeley Public Library for access to their entire collection, without needing a BPL card.
